Hi Thomas, this is an excellent video. I hv 2 questions. 1) I like to take the Milky Way. I know how to search for it. But how can I determine the location at a certain time. 2) How to locate the southern polaris (so to speak). I can locate the north star Polaris but not the south star. I google and its called Sigma Octantis but its not listed. Tks

Hi, And thanks for the instructions for this cost effective tripod dolly. I was just wondering why you wouldn't use the off cuts of your 2x4s to create the tripod leg stops, rather than the 1x2 and 1x4. It seems like there will be a lot of left over 1x2 and 1x4. Am I mistaken?

Hi Thomas, I hope you can help me. I have been using Skyview (purchase version)on iPhone 13 Pro max for a long time now. Since a month ago the camera is not working anymore. I can use the app, but no photos taken. What can be the problem? Thanks in advance

Tom, I purchased Reflector 4 yesterday and the Director App for my iPhone and iPad. I’m running a MacBook Pro M1 with Parallels and Windows 11. I couldn’t get anything to work as expected using Windows (where I normally record my training videos) so I tried the Mac side and was able to record my iPhone. I also bought Parrot thinking that might help me. Honestly, I’m not sure what Parrot gives me that Reflector doesn’t offer. The documentation on Squirrel’s website is so limited that I tried to find a video explaining the settings. Your video is Excellent. I wish I found it yesterday.

HI, Firefox- I have set to DEFAULT But, when i save a site to Desktop i opened in firefox, it keeps showing the "chrome" icon?? I also have Chrome running and that was default. When i click the desktop link, it does open in Firefox BUT it still shows with chrome icon eventhough i sent it from firefox??.

hi Tom, i'm trying to use this app to capture some video footage from UA-cam. It works great for the video but doesn't capture the audio from the video. what am i doing wrong? thanks in advance

smacking my head against a wall on audio missing turns out the mic speaker or rather system screen audio mix was the issue, i thought the mic icon meant mic volume and the speaker was max volume. your video help me understand the issues

When I use the cursor to resize a window (clicking on the edge and pulling outwards) I get black bars that show up at the edge of the window as it's resizing, like the GUI is lagging behind and filling the expanded area with black bars until it catches up. Same thing happens on another laptop of mine with Windows 7, briefly installed Windows 10 on that laptop also and it did the same thing. It's a Legion 5 laptop and it shouldn't be having performance issues with resizing application windows? it can play games like Just Cause 4 and Bannerlord without issue. Do you know why this happens? Thanks.

Thank you so much. I had given up. I spent days with customer service and their answer to me was. Buy a new one. It has been sitting for the last 7 months and today I started researching new fitness trackers and thought I would try one more time and found your video and it was as simple as deleting the app on my computer and reinstalling it and low and behold it synced.

How accurate do you think this is? Within a degree or 2? I'd be using it to aim a sky tracker since I cannot see the north star where I am.
